Cookie Policy
The short version
We set one set of cookies, for Google Analytics, and only after you say yes. If you decline, none are set. You can change your mind at any time using “Cookie choices” at the bottom of any page.
What we set, if you accept
- _ga and _ga_<measurement id> — set by Google Analytics. They give your browser a random number so we can tell a repeat visit from a new one and see which pages people actually read. They last about 13 months and they do not carry your name or your email address.
That is the whole list. Nothing is set for advertising, and nothing follows you to other websites.
If you decline
No analytics cookies are set at all. We remember the choice itself in your browser’s local storage, so that we are not asking you again on every page. That record stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Spam protection on our forms
Pages with a form on them — contact, custom orders, workshop bookings and the newsletter — also load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being filled in by a person rather than by a script. It is a security tool rather than a tracker, and it is not used for advertising.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we take it as a no. Analytics stays switched off and we do not show you the cookie banner.
Your browser’s own controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This site still works if you do — the only difference is that we cannot count your visit.
